The Aboriginal Business Development Centre can assist entrepreneurs in all stages of their business development including completing market research, writing a business plan, registering the business, acquiring financing, hiring staff, and more.
We can also assist with business growth and expansions as well as business acquisitions.
Aboriginal Business Development Centre staff work one-on-one with all clients to learn about your business support needs and strive to provide you with quality individualized feedback and guidance.
The Aboriginal Business Development Centre is not a lender and we therefore make referrals to other organizations that do lend such as Aboriginal Financial Institutions (All Nations Trust Company and TRICORP), Community Futures, Futurpreneur, the Women’s Enterprise Centre, the BDC, and other commercial banks.
We work closely with our partners in Prince George and the region to ensure that you get the best possible support in order to help your business be successful. Our services are free and there is no eligibility criteria that you need to meet in order to get an appointment with a Business Development Officer.
The Aboriginal Business Development Centre has two Incubator offices for Aboriginal entrepreneurs who require extra assistance during the start-up phase of their business and would benefit from a trial or temporary office or retail space. Inquire about this service with one of the Aboriginal Business Development Centre’s Business Development Officers.
We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the Prince George Nechako Aboriginal Employment and Training Association and the Province of British Columbia through the Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation.
