Profile: Ms. Marcella Fontaine
I have owned and operated my own consulting company for 10 years and have 20 years experience in First Nation business and economic development initiatives and community development. I have worked with and for government, the private and public sector, First Nation governments/organizations as a consultant. I have years of experience in lending in the capacity as a Senior Business Analyst, Business Development Officer and an Instructor with several colleges. I possess extensive experience in business and economic development, curriculum development, facilitation, training and employment and community development with First Nations. I have been involved in developing partnerships on behalf of Manitoba First Nations with government departments and industry in economic and business development initiatives. Most recently I have become active in developing curriculum with and for First Nation Language teachers.
I raised three daughters, Ainsley, Amy and Danielle and have three beautiful granddaughters who are the loves of my life named Rhiannon, Autumn and Neepin.
